JIMS Rohini organised an enlightening session “CSR and Ethical Decision-Making in Organisations” to introduce the importance of experiential learning for management students. Conducted by Ms. Esha Razzdan, National Head of Strategic Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships at Impresario Global, the session provided insights as to how organizations integrate corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ethical frameworks into their strategic and operational decisions.
Ms. Razzdan initiated the discussion by highlighting the critical role of CSR in driving sustainable business practices and fostering positive stakeholder relationships. She emphasized the importance of ethical decision-making, illustrating how choices at every organizational level ranging from policy implementation to community engagement can impact reputation, employee morale, and societal trust.
Through discussions on real-life cases, the students were exposed to practical ways to align organizational objectives with social impact as well as ensuring that CSR initiatives are meaningful, measurable and ethically sound.
The session concluded with takeaways for students aspiring to become future business leaders, reinforcing that embedding ethics and CSR into organizational strategy through their participation in Self Society organisation (SSO) under Project Based Learning (PBL) of PGDM program.
