JIMS, Rohini organised a Guest Session on “Environmental Ethics and Sustainability Model” for the students of PGDM on 12th Aug 2025. The session was delivered by Dr. Suneel Keshwani, a renowned corporate and soft skills trainer, dynamic speaker, and mentor
with extensive experience in fostering lifelong learning among higher education institutions and corporate leaders.
Dr. Keshwani initiated his talk with a fundamental discussion on the environment and the interconnectedness of all elements, emphasizing the cause-and-effect relationship that governs ecological balance. He further highlighted the importance of taking an ownership of responsibility towards the preservation of environment.
The talk further moved towards the ways to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by a management student. The discussion then transitioned to the Sustainability Model with key ideas as pro-social behaviour and creating win- win situations for both the environment as well Gen Z.
In the concluding segment, students watched a thought-provoking video titled SOS Earth, which creatively illustrated the impact of carbon emissions and the urgency of adopting eco-friendly practices. The video reinforced simple yet impactful measures such as using public transport, minimizing water wastage, and opting for a green lifestyle.
Overall, the session was highly interactive, intellectually stimulating, and left students with a renewed sense of responsibility towards integrating environmental ethics into personal and professional domains.
