Session on “AI and Emerging Tech in Marketing Communication”

JIMS, Rohini organized an enriching Alumni Session on “AI and Emerging Tech in Marketing Communication” for the students of the PGDM programme on 6th August 2025. The session was delivered by Tanmeet Kaur, GM – Public Relations & Communications at Battery Smart and an esteemed alumna of the PGDM Batch (2014–16).

Ms. Kaur opened the session with a comprehensive overview of marketing strategies and their implementation in the current business landscape. She emphasized how marketing communication is rapidly evolving from traditional, one-to-one channels into data-driven, tech-enabled engagement powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). She highlighted how brands are increasingly adopting AI to deliver hyper-personalized advertisements, predictive insights, and highly efficient campaigns while also stressing the importance of ensuring ethical use of such powerful technologies.

Using real-life case studies, she illustrated how AI is transforming marketing practices and underscored the critical role of ethical responsibility in leveraging this technology.

The session was highly interactive, intellectually stimulating, and left students with a renewed sense of responsibility to integrate both technological advancement and environmental ethics into their personal and professional pursuits.
