Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini, drew to a close, students from the PGDM programs had the privilege of to interact with Mr. Misal, Director & Head of Talent Acquisition at KPMG India, in an insightful session on 5th July 2025 that went beyond conventional career advice.
Mr. Misal’s talk, grounded in both personal experience and industry expertise, offered students a nuanced understanding of the factors that shape professional success—highlighting the importance of clarity, intentionality, and continuous growth. Sharing his own journey from humble beginnings to leadership at a global firm, he encouraged students to define their career paths with precision, focusing not just on job titles but on the specific roles and responsibilities that resonate with their unique strengths and interests.
He stressed the value of developing a strategic, measurable roadmap for professional development, reminding students that true progress is built on clear goals and deliberate action rather than vague aspirations. This approach empowers students to take ownership of their careers and navigate their growth with confidence and focus.
He emphasized that how leadership is not granted by titles or words but earned through unwavering integrity, humility, and the impact of one’s actions.
