focus on shaping a sustainable energy future.
During the visit, students primarily engaged with Engineers India Ltd. (EIL) projects under the
guidance of Mr. Saurabh Agarwal, Assistant General Manager, EIL. They were introduced to several
significant projects, including the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Plant, Waste-to-Enzymes SSF Reactor,
Renewable Energy City, Solid Fuel Energy Plant, Strategic Cavern LPG Storage in Mangalore,
Geothermal System for Space Conditioning at Leh Airport, and a Bamboo Waste Treatment Plant. A
highlight of the visit was an immersive experience in a graphical room with 360-degree screens,
showcasing EIL’s innovative projects in action.
Ms. Anubha T Agarwal, Senior General Manager-HR at EIL, shared her insights on how industry
knowledge is vital for PGDM students and emphasized the importance of staying updated in today's
rapidly evolving world.
While a scheduled visit by Union Minister Shri Hardeep Singh Puri was anticipated, the team could
not interact with him due to security challenges caused by a large media presence. However, the students
had the privilege of meeting Ms. Vartika Shukla, Chairperson & Managing Director of EIL, who
appreciated their participation, listened to their learnings, and extended her best wishes for their future.
The visit to India Energy Week 2025 was an inspiring and powerful experience, allowing students to
engage with industry leaders who are the true architects of India’s energy future. It reinforced the
significance of innovation and sustainability, leaving students motivated and enlightened.
