The JIMS Talk Show was a dynamic and engaging event organized for the PGDM batch (2024-26) students on 5 th Dec 2024. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their public speaking skills in formats resembling TED Talks, informative speeches, or creative presentations. Participants were evaluated on key parameters such as content, fluency, tonality, confidence, and attire.
Following the speeches, each section participated in an exciting ramp walk segment, where pairs of students displayed poise, elegance, and confident facial expressions, embodying professional demeanor.
The event was judged by Swati Narang and her husband, both accomplished professionals with extensive corporate experience. They shared valuable insights and feedback, inspiring students to refine their communication and presentation skills. Hosted by the PGDM department of JIMS, the talk show aimed to prepare students for the corporate world by enhancing their confidence, articulation, and professional presence.
This initiative not only encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones but also highlighted the importance of holistic development in building successful future leaders.
