The corridors of Green Lounge came alive with the dynamic energy and passion of the Jagan Institute of Management Studies, on the magical evening of October 24, 2024. The evening was a perfect mix of laughter, friendship, and promises of great journeys ahead. The glittering lights, outstanding decor, and comfortable surroundings create the tone for a stylish and memorable evening for the Fresher’s Party of PGDM/ PGDM-IB/PGDM-RM students.
The evening began with a big welcome, with seniors embracing the newest members of our academic family. The enthusiasm and eagerness were obvious, marking the start of a new chapter in the lives of our future business leaders. The evening began with a spirited ramp walk where students showcased their style and competed for titles Students were awarded Mr and Ms Fresher’s and interesting titles like Mr. and Popular, Mr Charismatic and Ms. Fabulous, Mr. and Ms Talented, Mr. and Ms. Stylish Star, Ms. Diva and Mr. Dapper.
Following the ramp walk, students wowed the audience with various performances, from energetic dance numbers to musical pieces that revealed their creativity and passion. The crowd’s enthusiasm was palpable. The dance floor was the event's focal point when the batch of 2024-26 demonstrated their dancing moves and grooves, captivating everyone. Students danced to the beats of the music, establishing new connections and deepening bonds in the ecstatic mood.
The food brought people together, adding to the night’s sense of connection and community. Freshers 2024 was the perfect way to start the new academic year, fostering friendships and celebrating the new batch in a warm, lively atmosphere. The ceremony closed with a vote of thanks to the Ekyum Cultural Club, which expressed gratitude to all of the students, teachers, and staff members who helped organize this outstanding event. The fresher party will forever remain etched in our memories as a remarkable beginning to a promising growth, learning, and success journey.
