Case studies are a crucial tool for addressing real business problems and are an essential method for management graduates. Recognizing this, JIMS Rohini conducted several case study workshops on July 7, 2023, as part of the orientation week for new students. These workshops were led by the institute's esteemed and experienced faculty members: Dr. Yukti Ahuja (Associate Professor), Dr. Deepti Kakkar (Professor) and Dr. Neha Shukla (AssociateProfessor).
The primary objective of the workshops was to equip students with the skills to develop an analytical mindset, identify various elements of a case, understand the issues and problems involved, and find the best possible solutions. The workshops aimed to foster analytical insights among students and demonstrate how different aspects of a case influence organizations and play a critical role in the decision-making process.
Participants found the workshops beneficial for acquiring an additional management decision-making skills, which they believe will help them navigate real-life situations effectively.
