She emphasized on making pointers for a speech rather than memorizing it. She discussed Audience Selection and divided the audience into 3 parts: before session, during session and after the session. She also talked about the importance of posture while communicating, eye contact, stage coverage, facial expressions, appearance and grooming. She described the CRC approach (Commendation Recommendation Commendation) of speech evaluation, also known as sandwich approach. Towards the end of the session she voluntarily called the participants to give a speech for about a minute on a random topic. She also asked a few students to evaluate the speech. She gave her recommendations to the participants.
