An event, Next Level- Meet with Mentors, was held on 15th February, 2024 in B-302 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.
The objective of this event was to give students a chance to present their business ideas, so that they can be mentored and nurtured. In this, the students (individuals or in groups) were invited on voluntarily basis to present their business ideas. Also, the students who could not present their ideas in the previous- NEXT LEVEL event due to paucity of time were given a chance to do so. These ideas were discussed and mentored. The mentors were Dr. Sheetal Chadda and the entrepreneurship faculty of PGDM, Dr. Avijeet Chakravarti.
The ideas presented from the students are as follows:-
- Khelo Project(Letzkhelo) by Anshuman Negi – Their mission is to create a vibrant and exclusive community for athletics of all levels. Letzkhelo is a place where they can connect, compare, grow and play out of the virtual world. Preliminary inputs by mentors- A partnership deed between the promoters and a working website makes this company a fertile for incubation.
- Stitching- Aggregator Model by Samiya Khan- She has focused the rural Indian women who know tailoring and are willing to contribute to their family income. The customer segment is- the teens, the adults, old age women and the pregnant women who demand customized clothing. Preliminary inputs by mentors- The project is workable and is more inclined towards social entrepreneurship. A pilot test was recommended with Navjyoti Foundation.
- Automobile Modification Application by Mayank Tripathi, Yashika Kakkar, Hemant Bhurani, Hrithik Gajabhiye, Sahil Garg, Yashanshi Patel- Automobile Modification Application include services like Home Delivery of spare parts and provision of mechanic to do the modifications in front of the customers. – For cosmetic modification of bikes, the students specified the parts of two wheelers (Bikes and Scooty) that can be modified. They have found that the solution to all the problems of the target customer is that the service/modification is done at the doorstep. The service can be booked through their application. Preliminary inputs by mentors were that the quality and convenience should be their Unique Selling Proposition. Idea is lacking clarity on technology, legal and financial feasibility. It was advised to induct a diversity team to take care of this. It holds potential though and is recommended for the second round.

The focus is offering tailored crop health solutions after soil analysis, crop analysis, real time mentoring and continuous monitoring of soil. Preliminary inputs by mentors were that the Idea was at very initial level, students have conducted market research in a particular zone and targeting farmers having more than 20 acres of land. They have been advised to rethink from various perspectives- farmer, geographical region, agricultural shift and soil. The students’ enthusiastic response to this entirely voluntary activity indicates a significant level of interest among them. They were shown the road ahead to take their ideas further by mentors.
