Innovative Minds Charming Ads On 13th February 2015 ACADEMIC CLUB of JIMS organized an entertaining competition for all the aspiring artists of the college. The event was called “THE AD MAD COMPETITION”. The student participation was gratifying.The audience also cooperated with the club.
There were 8 teams participating in the event with 3-4members each. Teams were given a sequential order for recognition.
A representative from each team was called to select as lip which contained the name of a product along with which props were allotted to the teams. All the teams were given 30 minutes to prepare their act with as uitable tagline.
The hosts for the events were Aman Kalra of BBA 4thsem and Charu Garg of BCA 4th sem. The products that the teams got were of some imaginary brands all discovered by the joint efforts of the faculty coordinator Ms. Ankita Prabhakar and her academic club student coordinators.
After 30 minutes the teams were called in the previously given sequence and the most amusing part of the event started. All the teams were given 1+1 minutes to perform. After each minute a bell was rung to inform the participants about the timing.
The judgment was made by our faculty Dr. Deepak Chahal and Dr. Ritu Bajaj.
Last time winners Deepak, Arpit, Harmehak & Shikhar(BBA 4th sem) once again grabbed the first prize this time with their “Black Beauty Cream”. Second prize landed on to Kunal, Ankush, Shikhar & Nishant due to their ad about “Tony Mobile Phone”. The all girl team consisting of Ushma, Rishika, Disha & Komal (MCA 2nd sem)made made it to the top 3 with their “Khana Khazana Pickle”.
The winners were awarded with certificate of appreciation and prize money by our honourable Mr. Manpreet Singh Sandhu.
