On December 6th, 2024, students of PGDM JIMS Rohini, under the aegis of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), visited Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) incubation centre, Anveshan Foundation. The visit aimed to give students valuable exposure to the entrepreneurial ecosystem and cutting-edge technological advancements
The event featured a session by Dr. V.K. Arora, Chief Executive Officer of IGDTUW-Anveshan Foundation, a premier business incubation center. Dr. Arora, an accomplished entrepreneur and advocate for innovation, shared a structured pathway to entrepreneurship. He also introduced the students to the incubation center's resources and opportunities, emphasizing the importance of fostering creativity and enterprise in the modern world. This session inspired the participants to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career option.
Following the talk, the students toured the Advanced Mechatronics Lab. Prof. Manoj Soni explained the lab's facilities, including industrial-grade robotic systems such as 4-Axis SCARA robots, robotic kits, and PLC training equipment.
The visit concluded with a glimpse into the AI Lab, where innovative projects in artificial intelligence were demonstrated. The lab focuses on developing AI models and systems with practical applications, inspiring students to delve into AI research. Overall, the visit was an enriching experience that broadened the students' horizons in entrepreneurship and advanced technology.
