The PGDM-International Business of JIMS,Rohini has organized an Alumni Session on 23rd Nov 2024 on the topic “International Sales and Networking” . The session was delivered by Ms Sakshi Pandey who is currently associated with LS Next Gen as Associate Director- Sales and Business Development and also an alumnus of PGDM IB, batch 2011-13.
The session kicked off with a compelling presentation by Ms Sakshi who shared her expertise on navigating the complexities of global market expansion. She emphasized the importance of market research and data-driven strategies when entering new regions, highlighting examples of companies that had successfully entered international markets. Ms Sakshi discussed the importance of understanding local dynamics, including political, economic, and cultural factors, to avoid missteps in unfamiliar territories and also explored how businesses can leverage technology and automation to streamline their international sales processes.
The Guest Session on International Sales and Marketing provided valuable perspectives on the challenges and opportunities faced by businesses operating across borders. The session highlighted the importance of cultural understanding, the effective use of technology, and the ability to adapt marketing strategies to local needs while maintaining a strong global presence. Management students had a clearer understanding of how managers need to optimize their international sales efforts and be equipped with actionable strategies to drive global business growth. It was a fruitful session for the students of International Business.
