A guest session was organised by the department ofInternational Business for its students delivered by Dr. S.P Sharma,Chief Economist and Deputy Secretary General at PHDCCI (PHD Chamber of Commerceand Industry, India) on 7th Sep 2024 on the topic of “Cost BenefitAnalysis”
Dr. Sharma delivered an engaging presentation thatcovered the fundamental principles of cost-benefit analysis, its applications,and best practices. It included real-world examples of CBA in action,illustrating how organizations utilize this analysis to take informed decisionson projects, policies, and investments. He made students learned how toidentify and categorize both tangible and intangible costs and benefits for abusiness firm.
